Catherine Stancl, from CTV's W-FIVE gives us an updated report on conjoined twins Tinashe and Tinotenda. Tinashe and Tinotenda were born in July 2004 at the Howard Salvation Army Hospital in rural Zimbabwe.
It was March 7, 2005, and Canada's top surgeons at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children were performing the delicate task of separating Tinashe and Tinotenda, conjoined twin boys from Zimbabwe. Canada should take lead in Darfur: NDP

NEW WESTMINSTER, B.C. - The federal New Democrats want Canada to take a lead role in any UN mission to stop the bloodshed in Sudan's Darfur province, even if that means scaling back its commitment in Afghanistan. NDP Leader Jack Layton pointed to a weekend poll that suggested public support for Canada's Afghan mission is wavering.
"Our view is that this is exactly the kind of peacekeeping role that Canadians have always supported," Layton said Sunday. "Canada invented the concept of UN-led peacekeeping forces under (then diplomat Lester) Pearson" in the 1950s.
Sudan's government reached a peace deal with the main insurgent group on Friday.
Liberal Senator Romeo Dallaire, the former general who led the doomed UN peacekeeping mission in Rwanda, has called for Canada to play a lead role in a proposed 20,000-member UN peacekeeping force.

The tent, inaugurated at a ceremony on Thursday, stands in the garden of the former St Ethelburga's Church, which was destroyed by an Irish Republican Army (IRA) bomb in 1993. At least 13 people have died in an air assault by US forces in the Iraqi city of Ramadi just an hour after a bomber killed nine people outside a Baghdad court.
Ali al-Ubaidi, a medic at the Ramadi hospital said: "US planes bombed a house in the Aziziya area of Ramadi city centre, killing 13 civilians." Four others were wounded, he added. Click HERE to read more. Pray for Peace!
